2.  Why does the word AMBULANCE appear in the following form on the front of rescue vehicles?

 a. When viewed by a person looking out of the back window of an automobile in front of the rescue vehicle, the word AMBULANCE can be clearly read. b. When its reflection is viewed in a rear view mirror, automobile drivers can clearly read the word AMBULANCE. c. The word is clearly visible to the driver of the ambulance.

 3. In the diagram at the left, line segment TM is the line of reflection for the figure.  Use this diagram to answer the following questions
 a. What is the reflection image of segment AB? Answer segment HC
 b. What is the reflection image of triangle FUN? Answer triangle DGO
 c. What is the reflection image of point U? Answer point G
 d. How does the length of segment EC compare to the length of segment BC? Answer EC is half of BC. In the reflection, EC and BE are equal.

4.a.  What word will be seen when MOM is reflected over line l?

 Answer MOM

b.  What word will be seen when MOM is reflected over line m?

 Answer WOW

 5.  Fifteen ants are walking on a mirror.  Each ant has 6 legs.  How many legs can be seen during this journey? Answer 180 legs
