Project Greenskate (The University of Washington) Website - This is a fun interactive program that involves searching for clues as to why a skateboard park may not be built because of environmental hazards. Recycle City (EPA) Website - This is an interactive game that lets you learn how to reduce, reuse, and recycle materials in a fictitious city. Save Our Species (EPA) Website - Includes a brief overview of some endangered species and why they are endangered. Shrinking a Landfill (Annenburg/CPB Project) Interactive game in which a $50,000 budget is provided to attempt to shrink the contents of the materials going into a landfill by at least 10%. The Ecotourism Game (Educational Web Adventures) Provides an interactive web experience as the web navigator debates various aspects of establishing an ecotourism site in an area of the Amazon basin. |
