Living Environment Regents Examinations

In June 2001, the Biology Regents was changed to the Living Environment Regents Examination. The new exam contains five parts. Part A and B-1 consist of multiple choice questions. Part B-2 consists of mixed format questions including multiple choice, short answer, and a graph. Part C consists of free-response questions which may include short answers or essay questions. Part D consists of questions based on the laboratory skills (including the required state labs) and includes mixed format questions.

Biology Regents Examinations

Exams issued prior to June 2001 under the older Biology curriculum contained multiple-choice question items much like the ones found on the current exam. These older exams may still be used to review for the new Living Environment Regents Examinations.
