In June 2001, the Biology Regents was
changed to the Living Environment Regents Examination. The new
exam contains five parts.
Part A and B-1 consist of multiple choice questions. Part B-2
consists of mixed format questions including multiple choice,
short answer, and a graph. Part C consists of free-response
questions which may include short answers or essay questions. Part
D consists of questions based on the laboratory skills (including
the required state labs) and
includes mixed format questions.
