Mix and Match Complex Fractions

Have a little manipulative fun with complex fractions!

1.  Create four complex fraction
     problems, utilizing the same variable
     letters.

2.  Prepare the solutions to the
     simplification of the fractions,
showing 4 steps in each problem.

3.  Type, or handwrite, the problems
with their solutions onto a sheet of
     paper.

 4.  Cut the pieces apart so that each expression is separated.

5.  Mix up the pieces and put them in an envelope or baggie.

6.  Each student, or pair of students, must reassemble the complex fractions
with their solutions in proper order.
